Steve Wilson sells factory new and used new-production Cessnas. He takes trades, and assists first-time aircraft owners nationwide with new-production Cessna purchases.

A six-year Cessna factory veteran, he sells new single engine sales for Cessna in South Dakota, Sioux City Iowa, and Nebraska. He is an aircraft mechanic, aircraft owner, and flight instructor; a full-time aircraft professional in the single engine aircraft business for 23 years.

An NTSB-trained Air Safety Investigator, Steve represented the Cessna Aircraft Company in field accident investigations. He supervised Lycoming and Continental engine teardowns at both major engine factories. "Northwest 188, how do you read Minneapolis Center?"

Radar history shows Northwest Flight 188 is normally cleared to descend from 37,000 feet about 135 miles out or half an hour before landing. This is fifteen minutes before Minneapolis Center would have the crew to contact Minneapolis Approach Control for landing.

Instead, on Wednesday, Minneapolis Air Route Traffic Control Center was out of contact with Northwest Flight 188 for at least 250 miles as the flight passed Minneapolis 120 miles into central Wisconsin, still level at 37,000 before the pilots "came to".
