It's really amazing that not a single person was injured. Freaked out of course, but wow! I was so impressed. Might not fly again for awhile, but very impressed.

It annoys me to have news types and others refer to this as a "miracle". What we have is one great pilot doing a great job. Then we have a lot of good people doing good jobs. It is disrespectful (and religious exploitation of the event) to suggest that doing a good job is a miracle.

Absolutely true! What a wonderful demonstration of great pilot skills! He deserves a pat on the back and a week off to recover from the adrenaline high! And as a result, I hope that each and every pilot is reevaluating their ability to execute the same textbook water landing. . .selfishly, I hope they can
