YouTube, My Newest Hobby
In the past week, I uploaded 30-some videos. Some are old. Some are recent, like this one:

It's been way too much fun watching the number of views of my videos. I try to wordsmith the video headlines and keywords to draw the most attention. The headline for the video above, "Keenen Faces his Fear, a Hot Air Balloon Explosion", so far, has been the winner. (compared only to my other posts)
The lovely Lisa Wade...
...as you may know, has been affecting me with many effects.
Lisa, a sociologist and professor at Occidental College, and I, share a love of writing. She writes volumes: papers, journal articles, chapters, books and lectures. I write something now and then: emails, occasionally a blog post or story, and lately - regular love letters to Lisa.
Well, Lisa's personal blogging* style (like mine) includes lots of photos and videos. She gets the blame for infecting me with YouTube.
