I am a 150 hr instrument rated pilot. Trying to make a decision between a Cessna 206 or Beech a36. Have a 600 mile trip to make twice a month, also 200 mile or less trip occasionally. Which plane is better for the mission?

for the 200 mile trip i would just drive. the 600 miler trip is out of the optimal range of single engine pistons.

600 miles is a perfect range for Cessna T182,Cirrus,Columbia,Diamond Star DA40,the list goes on. All of these planes(single engine)can fly 600 mile trips with 45 minute reserves.
